What's different? Things to keep in mind

  • When you enroll, you MUST choose a Primary Care Provider (PCP) from the Tufts EPO Select Network and register your doctor with Tufts.
  • Until you choose a PCP, only emergency services will be available to you with a $100 copay.
  • The Tufts network may be different than your current network.
    If so, you may have to find a new doctor(s). If you need to make a switch, representatives from Tufts Health Plan will be onsite at Encore between 2/28 – 3/11.
  • To see a specialist, you must get a referral from your PCP.

When benefits start

  • Your new benefits start May 1, as long as you enroll and turn in proof documents (marriage/birth certificates) by March 11.
  • Once you enroll, you’ll be covered for three months: May, June and July of 2022. To continue your benefits, you’ll need to work or be credited with 80 hours each work month.
